Tradeling.com is a Dubai government funded startup, set up in September 2019 and is operated by Blink Technologies FZCO, headquartered at the Dubai Airport Free Zone, UAE. Tradeling.com is intended to become the dominant B2B marketplace for the MENA region by simplifying and enhancing digital B2B trade through a centralized, digital and safe procurement platform. It will offer value added services that will include finance and logistics. Launched in Q1 of 2020, with multiple categories ranging from office supplies, food and beverage, and health and wellness. Responsibilities: 

• Responsible for team resources management, mentoring, and training
• Own the delivery engine end to end, by being an effective part of the sprint planning, estimation, and following up on daily basis progress until the final release.
• Provide delivery progress reporting on a regular basis.
• End-to-end responsibility for the delivery execution and success.
• Ensure teams are following all processes consistently across all squads 
• Ensure teams are estimating and all work is measurable
• Set-up reporting related to Jira boards including Burndown charts
• Work with stakeholders (software/tool development teams/operations leadership/networking engineers/tech delivery managers/senior management) to define requirements and processes.
• Measure the team performance and work to improve the team productivity by removing blockers and early raising a flag for any risk.
• Mentor and advise the tech team on company process best practices

Requirements: 

• 5+ years of experience with software development lifecycle from conception to delivery.
• 3+ years of experience in program management or related field ( project management, product management, etc), demonstrated knowledge of program management best practices
• Experience managing technical projects (e.g., writing technical requirements documentation, driving user interface or user experience design decisions, managing feature requests, etc.)
• Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• PMP is preferred

Position Overview

The Senior Frontend Engineer will develop, test, release, and maintain our cross-functional platform’s frontend.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the platform frontend codebase
• Optimize applications for maximum speed
• Design mobile-based features
• Collaborate with back-end developers and web designers to improve the usability
• Recommend appropriate technologies to implement new features.
• Review code, layout, and design for projects before client meetings.
• Build, deliver, and iterate to help scale projects.
• Create new methods for improving efficiency.

Requirements

Skills Required

• Expert JavaScript, CSS, HTML
• Expert in CSS technologies (SASS, CSS-in-JS)
• Good understanding of TypeScript
• Strong experience with Reactjs and Nodejs. React-native is a plus
• Familiarity with bundling tools like Webpack
• Knowledge in writing testing using Jest or react-testing-library
• Ability to translate mockups into seamless web pages with perfect visual and functional elements with a good eye for details and pixel-perfect implementation
• Experience in building large and modular codebases.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and knowledge of how to interface with them.
• Knowledge of SEO principles
• Understanding of layout aesthetics
• In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, and deployment)

Experience Required

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent field.
• 5+ years of experience working in Front-End Development.
• 1+ years experience in Reactjs
